U.S. stock futures are mixed as investors digest potential regulatory changes and prepare for Nvidia's (NVDA) earnings report later this week; Spirit Airlines (SAVE) shares are moving higher in premarket trading after the discount carrier filed for bankruptcy; Super Micro Computer (SMCI) shares are jumping as the company reportedly has a plan to avoid being delisted; shares of Tesla (TSLA) are surging while those of Uber (UBER) and Lyft (LYFT) are declining on reports that President-elect Donald Trump's transition team plans to ease restrictions on self-driving vehicles; and organic carrots sold at Trader Joe's and Wegmans are linked to a deadly E. coli outbreak, the CDC says. U.S. stock futures are mixed early Monday as market watchers weigh potential policy changes under incoming President-elect Donald Trump. Spirit said that it will continue to take bookings as well as honor all tickets, credits, and loyalty points. Attempts to merge with rivals JetBlue Airways (JBLU) and Frontier Airlines parent Frontier Group Holdings (ULCC) 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:had failed, hurting Spirit's ability to compete with bigg🦹er airlines. Super Micro Computer (SMCI) shares are jumping 10% in premarket trading after Barron’s reported that the server maker on Monday is expected to 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:sub🌟mit a pl💃an for its delayed annual report that could help it avoid delisting. The company said it 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:received a letter from the Nasdaq on Sept. 17 warning it would be delisted if it does not file the delinquent report or submit a plan within 60 days, or by Nov. 16, making Monday the effective date for the submission. Supermicro shares have taken a hit in recent months on regulatory concerns following allegations of 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:accounting manipulation and other issues.

4. Tesla Stock Soars on Report Trump ♏Team May Loosen Self-Driving Rules

Advisers to President-elect Donald Trump reportedly are considering a 澳洲幸运🦹5官方开奖结果体彩网:federal framework for self-driving vehi🦂cles, potentially speeding up deployment of the technology currently being developed by Tesla (TSLA). Bloomberg said that advisers are seeking candidates who can rework federal regulations to allow for vehicles that don’t include foot pedals or steering wheels, such as the kind that 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:Tesla is developing. Shares of Tesla are more than 6% higher in premarket trading, while those of ride-hailing apps Uber (UBER) and Lyft (LYFT) are down roughly 2% and 3%, respectively.

5. E. Coli Outbreak Linked to Organic⛄ Carrots, CDC Warns

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a warning for 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:organic whole and baby carrots sold by California-based Grimmway Farms that are believed to be the source of an E. coli outbreak across 18 states. The CDC report said that one person has died and 15 people have been hospitalized after being infected by the strain. All bags of the infected produce—which are sold at Trader Joe's and Costco (COST), among others—have been recalled from stores. The CDC issued a 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:similar warning last month when contaminated slivered onions used on McDonald's (MCD) Quarter Pounders were believed to be the source of an E. coli outbreak.
