Frank Armstrong has worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years. He started at Connecticut General Li🔴fe as a securities representative and insurance agent. He co-founded Moring-Armstrong & Company Inc. and was a NASD principal before starting his own fee-only registered investment advisor (RIA) firm in 1993. Located in Coconut Grove, Florida, Investor Solutions serves over 500 individuals and families, nonprofits, and retirement plan sponsors by providing portfolio maintenance and design and tax and investment strategy. The firm currently has 12 employees and $500 million in assets under management (AUM).
In addition to running his own business, Frank has also authored four books about investing and retirement. In 2002, Business Week named his book, The Informed Investor, one of the best books about investing. His other titles include Investment Strategies for the 21stꦫ Century, Save Your Retirement, and The Retirement Challenge. He has written articles for Morningsta꧟r, The CPA Journal, Accountant’s World, and CNN, and has appeared on PBS Morning Business Report, CNN Headline News, and Your Money with Stewart Varney.
Frank holds designations such as ꦓthe Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA), and 🐟Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations. Before entering the financial services industry, he served in the Air Force during Vietnam, flying 250 combat missions, and was a flight instructor.
