Experience

After school, Jean-Philippe Taillon joined BMO Financial Group as a commercial🌺 accounts manager. While in this role, he managed commercial loans up to $2 million. He entered the investment realm as a fund analyst for HR Strategies Inc., a company that invests institutional dollars in hedge funds. He later became chief operating officer of the company’s electricity trading division, where he oversaw regulatory issues, served on the risk management committee, executed market trades, and managed client relations.

In Jan. 2017, Jean-Philippe founded Rubicon E꧃nergy Group, which focuses on trading in the North American wholesale electricity market. He is also interested in new power markets and how they relate to existing markets.
