Dell Technologies (DELL) shares rose Friday following a report the PC maker is nearing a $5 billion AI server deal with 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:Elon Musk's xAI.

The deal between Dell and Musk's AI startup is still being finalized, with xAI potentially poised to buy more than $5 billion of servers powered by Nvidia (NVDA) GB200 chips, Bloomberg reported Friday.

Dell declined to remark on the report, but could be asked about it by Wall Street analysts when it reports earnings later this month on Feb. 27. Musk's xAI did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The companies have partnered before, with Musk and Dell executives 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:saying last summer that Dell would provide hardware for the AI "supercomputer" the company was planning to build in Memphis, Tennessee. Dell COO Jeff Clarke told Bloomberg in December the company had shipped "tens of thousands" of graphics processing units to the location.
