Further, Paul is the author of the biography of Marvin Gilmore, a Boston civil-rig♚hts activist, a grandson of slaves who grew up to achieve the American Dream. As a young man campaigning on behalf of civil and voting rights, Gilmore resorted to James Bond-like tactics to elude armed segregationists pursuing him.
