Tesla (TSLA) shares advanced for a second straight session as today's inflation news added to yesterday's endorsement of the electric👍 vehicle (EV) maker by President𝓡 Donald Trump.

Shares of Intel (INTC), Nvidia (NVDA), Broadcom (AVGO), and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) gained on a report that TSMC (TSM) proposed 𒀰a joint venture to operate Intel's chip-fabrication operations. TSMC's U.S.-listed shares rose as well. 

Robinhood Markets (HOOD) shares climbed when Deutsche Bank said the online trading platform was a "good buying opportunity" following the stock's recent sel🐷loff from all-time highs.

Brown-Forman (BF.A; BF.B) shares declined as Canada retaliated against U.S. tariffs, threatening 𝕴its business in a key market ♍for the maker of Jack Daniel's whiskey and other alcoholic beverages.

Shares of Delta Air Lines (DAL) dropped as TD Cowen cut the price target after the carrier warned about slowing travel demand. TD Cowen also trimmed its price targets on United Airlines (UAL) and American Airlines (AAL), and shares of both were down as well.

U.S.-listed shares of Novo Nordisk (NVO) and shares of Eli Lilly (LLY) slid whe🐠n Roche announced it was teaming with Danish bi𝓡otech Zealand Pharma to produce weight-loss treatments to compete with Novo's and Lilly's popular drugs. 

Oil and gold futures gained. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note was higher. The U.S. dollar was up on the yen, lost ground to the pound, and was little changed against the euro. Prices for most major cryptocurrencies were lower, although bitcoin was slightly higher.
