Oracle (ORCL) is scheduled to report fiscal fourth-quarter results after the closing bell Wednesday, with analysts watching for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure growth fueled by demand for AI.

Jefferies analysts, who hold a "buy" rating for the stock, said in a note to clients over the weekend that they expect "an inflection in both OCI and backlog over the next few quarters" as capacity constraints ease, and raised their price target to $200 from $190.

Citi analysts, who have a "neutral" rating and $185 price target, said checks from a recent event suggested "greater enterprise customer interest in OCI database modernization," though they'll be watching for "greater conviction around the pace of profitability improvement in OCI."

OCI revenue is expected to surge 54% year-over-year to $3.11 billion, with total revenue rising 9% to $15.57 billion, according to analysts' estimates compiled Visible Alpha. Adjusted net income is projected to rise to $4.75 billion, or $1.64 per share, up from $4.61 billion, or $1.63 per share, a year earlier.

Of the 13 analysts tracked by Visible Alpha, six have a “buy” rating for Oracle stock, alongside seven “hold" ratings. Their consensus price target of about $174 is slightly below Monday's closing price just above $177. The stock has been on a tear in recent weeks, adding about 7% in June so far, and roughly one-quarter of their value since the end of April.
