Student Loan Borrowers Will Face a New Income-Driven Repayment Plan Process Soon

More changes are coming for s🍰tudent loan borrowers enrolled in income-driven repayment plans.

The Department of Education said Monday that it is reworking the income-driven repayment (IDR) plan process. Under a꧋ new method, enrolling in th🏅e IDR plans will be simpler, and existing borrowers will no longer need to recertify their income every year, it said.

The reworked plan comes less than a month after the department reopened applications for IDR plans. The department had originally 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:taken down the application after the administration said a court ruling in the legal battle against the 澳洲幸运5官🌱方开奖结果体彩网:Saving for a Valuable Educati𒐪on plan called into question other IDR plans.

The closure prevented borrowers from enrolling in the more affordable repayment options, and some were 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:unable to recertify ღtheir IDR plans.
